To be considered for this stream, applicants must fulfill the minimum qualifying standards in the following areas: age; language; education; personal net worth; company ownership experience; and business idea (if applicable). The prerequisites for eligibility must be satisfied at the time of the expression of interest, application, and nomination.

The New Brunswick Strategic Initiative Stream is intended for French-speaking professionals who possess the necessary skills, education, and job experience to make a significant contribution to the economy of New Brunswick. The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) was created to assist New Brunswick businesses in hiring foreign skilled employees and recent international graduates who want to live and work in the province.
