Your Privacy Rights
This page explains your rights regarding your personal data and how you can exercise them.
It is provided in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Who We Are
CanadaCIS is operated by CanadaP OOD, a private immigration services provider established in the European Union.
For the purposes of data protection law, CanadaP OOD acts as the Data Controller.
Your Rights Under the GDPR
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
1. Right of Access
You have the right to request confirmation as to whether we process your personal data and, if so, to receive a copy of that data.
2. Right to Rectification
You have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
3. Right to Erasure (“Right to Be Forgotten”)
You may request the deletion of your personal data where: – the data is no longer necessary for the purpose collected; – you withdraw consent and no other legal basis applies; or – the data was processed unlawfully.
Please note that certain data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate legal purposes.
4. Right to Restrict Processing
You have the right to request that we limit the processing of your personal data in specific circumstances, such as while a correction request is being reviewed.
5. Right to Object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data where it is based on legitimate interests, including processing for direct marketing purposes.
6. Right to Data Portability
Where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
7. Right to Withdraw Consent
Where we rely on your consent to process personal data, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Automated Decision-Making
CanadaP OOD does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.
If profiling is used for marketing purposes, it is subject to your consent and you may object at any time.

We may request additional information to verify your identity before processing your request.
Response Time
We will respond to your request within one month, as required by GDPR. In complex cases, this period may be extended by up to two additional months, in which case you will be informed.
Complaints
If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
